Left, Only to Return Again

Last post was on Tuesday when we were all off at college in Cuyamaca. Here is a lowdown of the rest of the trip to Pine Valley.

Rest of Tuesday: We came home from college and switched houses and took pictures with Dusty and left her our contact info. Then had family time at the Murrell’s.

Wednesday: We went on into El Cajon. Went to Guitar Center and showed them what’s up about playing guitars in the acoustic room and let Josh do his thing on the drums. Then we went on a tour of the Taylor Guitars headquarters which is probably my favorite part. Super sweet! Then we met up with the girls and went to In N’ Out again. Still super good every time. Then we went to the mall and I bought my San Diego Padres baseball hat and we went to this awesome store that was Christian owned, called C28 or Not of This World. Even got to pray with the sales guy! Then we went back to the Murrell’s house and watched Van Hellsing the youth pastor Jeff scared well, really only me… but I jumped and and screamed. But I was closest to the window so it was okay to be scared.

Thursday: Went to College again. The guys that apparently don’t actually take classes and only play Magic: The Gathering all day were back. We also looked up exciting happenings on everyone’s birthday on Wikipedia. After school we had a game night at the church building and that was SUPER FUN! SUPER, SUPER FUN! after that we attempted a movie at a friends house but that turned to an epic fail cause we all fell asleep and went home like 20 minutes into the movie.

Friday: We went to go see Estaban at the Bible camp. We also painted a side of the Murrell’s house. Which with the four of us boys, only took about a half hour. After that we went to a lake and had a BBQ. This was my second favorite part. We played volleyball, swam for a little bit, canoed, and chilled. The food was super good and Dylan and I met the exact way we want to be as dads. After the BBQ we attempted a movie night again and this time it worked! We watched Twilight and I got to complain the whole movie to this girl that loves the movie. Turns out they totally change everything about vampires in the movie, but they have a black MacBook and talk about the Seattle Mariners so I was surprised to say that i almost kinda liked it.

Today: Woke up SUPER SUPER early, left and came back home. Dylan and I decided we are going to move and live in Pine Valley and want t go back at least once a year until then.

School starts on monday…. meh… But I get to write creatively in Creative Writing, so we’ll see.

Peace out and stay sweet!
